Even though the temps are very low and the wind is blowing, I can’t stay inside when my pretty pink tree is blooming.
It is packed with blossoms now.
Mr. Fun has been working round the clock and needs a place to unwind, and I know just the spot.
Here he can pay some attention to his lovely wife 🙂 me.
That’s my seat.
He likes cheese with crusty bread and grapes.
And a little vino.
These tulips are my only ones in the yard so far this year!
Mr. Fun planted these bulbs for me a few years ago.
These double ~~ peony style tulips are some of my favorites.
Our wine glasses are
~~Lenox Tulip~~
I added ~~ him and her ribbons ~~ from my stash.
The back windows of our bedroom look out on the tree
and through the branches you can see the table waiting
with a warm blanket nearby,
very handy for snuggling with your honey 🙂 in this cool spring weather.
Everything is ready–now
I hope Mr. Fun comes home soon.
Real men are okay with Pink. In small doses :)!

I would like to know whether you go to Disney, and where you stay when you are there!
Beautiful setting. Love the bulbs.
Spring romance is in the air! It’s a beautiful setting Linda… AND you can snuggle by a fire tonight!!! We’ve had the fireplace lite since this afternoon…I REFUSE to complain because Isn’t it nice to work in the blooming gardens when it’s cool out!
I LOVE your little table and chairs!
Big Hugs,
Donna

Gorgeous setting Linda! Looks like the perfect place to relax:@)
I Love Pink!!!!!!!! Pink is my all-time favorite color, and I don’t think anything will ever change that!!! I think the color actually serves to calm men down, so it’s a good thing! Beautiful setting, and your tree is wonderful!!! I really love that soft pink throw, too. Mmmmmmmmmm….I can just feel it now! Sorry to hear you were having blog problems. I haven’t been to Disney in years, and when I did go I was staying with friends.
A beautiful way to get the romance on!! Love the ribbons on the glasses. Your arthur court? server is pretty too.. So very pretty.. xo marlis
Thanks so much for coming to visit me! It gave me a chance to find you. Your pink blossoms are awesome. Well, all your flowers are beautiful. That’s what I miss about living in the Ozarks. We had so many beautiful flowers amidst all the green. Here in Arizona, I’m lucky to have a couple of hibiscus flowers. I love your table setting, so sweet. Have a great day.
What a gorgeous tree! How lucky are you that you can look out your bedroom window and see that beauty!! Your little romantic table is so pretty! Lovely! Angie xo
What a sweet & romantic table! The tree makes for such a pretty background.
Linda, you are so good at putting together posts that provide the reader with so many things to comment on! First of all, I don’t think I had seen your bistro set before and it is darling! I love the heart-shaped backs. I recently bought a set, but I haven’t featured it on the blog yet. I’m waiting for things to settle down a little bit around our house. Second, those Lenox glasses are beautiful, as are those unusual tulips. I had never seen tulips like yours before. Very, very lovely! And last, my husband seems completely okay with pink. I’ve been tempted a few times to paint my bedroom pink, and each time he says it won’t bother him at all. I’m the one who always chickens out at the end from guilt. I do love that color!
Beautiful tree, beautiful tulips and beautiful table!
Linda, first of all, your blog name never fails to make me smile when I come for a visit. Secondly, I love hearing about a wife who is mad about her husband. What a lovely, romantic wonderful table. It is so pretty. I love your tulips. Ours have already come and gone. We only get one season out of them but this fall I will be looking for some peony style ones. Your tree is gorgeous and I would want to spend as much time as I could, enjoying it.
Oh so pretty! Our trees are in bloom too, a month early! What a lovely romantic table, with such a gorgeous background! Those tulips are amazing! Don’t the deer eat yours?
Thanks for linking to Let’s Dish!
My Real Man is OK with pink too! I just love your setting under the tree. The blossoms are gone so quickly and the tulips also. I love your double tulips too. They have such gorgeous petals that come to a point. It made me want to go get some crusty bread and some incredible cheese and eat outside with hubby!
very beautiful 🙂
Love it.
Well done.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
An arrangement fit for a king. You both have a wonderful snack together.
I love that sweet table outside. What a romantic little tablescape!
Beautiful outside tablescape for two. Love the pink flowering tree and the print print of your tablecloth. Wine for two sound like fun and time to relax and talk.
So beautiful! Come and join my Color Connection meme too. The linky is at my Pink Dinosaurs entry. Have a lovely weekend!
Beautiful setting to enjoy a glass of wine with your honey. That tree is spectacular with its abundance of pink blossoms. Beautiful.

I have been so busy lately that I am just getting a chance to really look at blogs. I LOVE this!! The table is inviting, and I really love what you did around the railing. That’s a perfect solution for me. I’ve been looking for a little more privacy on mine. Lovely!
Your table is so romantic, Linda! It must be so lovely with beautiful blossoms falling all around. I hope it warms up for us again on the east coast soon!
