How many fishy beachy dishes does one girl need?
Well, now, Mr. Fun, that depends on the dish! Some are just too hard to resist! And then there are those which magically swim home behind you and leap out of your vacation luggage and onto the deck table!
At least, that is my (fish) tale and I’m sticking to it!
These fish knew they would be happy here. The Momma fish keeps an eye on the eight little fish.
They rest on my favorite Wedgwood Nantucket Basket everyday white dishes. The basket design reminds me of the beach and the little dots on the edge look like bubbles. The turquoise placemats are exactly the blue/green color of the sea.
A few other fish keep them company:
fish on old wooden fence slats,
fish on bubbly pitchers,
serving fish,
More friends include an octopus from China in Epcot, a fish from Russia, and a little ball that started as a fish bubble and grew into a pig-fish!
Seashell salt and peppers, coral votives, and flowers like water grasses help those little fish feel right at home!
Through the glass pieces, everything appears to be underwater.
Giant bubble jugs hold little candles to help light the way as night falls,
Thank you for following me home!
I love your beachy table! you’re right, you can never have too fish dishes. Hector’s a cutie!
Donna
What a fun table! Lovin’ your pitcher and the shots through the glass. But you know my favorite thing would be the pig:@)

I love the colors of this table! How sweet are those fish dishes! Such details make this a table to remember!!
You know, I’m not sure that I have even one fish dish, and I might as well not look because you already have all the cutest ones. I love the water colors of the blues and greens, and the ‘blue hour’ shot is a fantastic picture. Do you ever serve anything but fish dinners on your fish dishes? Thank you for sharing your whimsical design. Cherry Kay
As if this were not perfect enough, you caught the blue hour! I love that shot the best, but I love everything about this table. I had to scroll through three times to get it all in. I’ll probably scroll through at least one more.
The details in this table are just wonderful!
Love it!
Gorgeous-Gorgeous-GORGEOUS!!! One of my very most favorite color schemes, too.

Those little fishies and the big mama fish could swim home with me too, I would not complain. These have to be some of the cutest fish I have seen. Lovin them. What a pretty table and so nice after the sun set. You really captured everything with the lens.

P.S. Love the name of your blog!!!!!
This was one of the cutest tables posted. (My humble opinion but I did look at them all). I love your fish plates. I don’t own any “beach” dishes but I’ve started looking for some. Thanks for the inspiration.
Linda, this is an adorable table. We use Nantucket Basket for our everyday dishes. They mix nicely with so many different things. You are inspiring me to set a fishy table. 😉
