Mr. Fun is home from the hospital with his new titanium hip! He is walking and free of pain, with only the muscle soreness expected when someone cuts you open and removes the largest joint in your body!
This bouquet of small spray roses came home with him. A nice choice for a man, I think.
Usually I send a plant.
I’m trying my best to be a good nurse! But I’m not sure how hard Mr. Fun is trying to be a good patient. Right now, contrary to explicit doctor’s orders, he is on a conference call with his office!
That’s about how well he listens to his “nurse” too.
I would like to rearrange this table and then read those garden books, but I hear the Bionic Man calling.
**** THANK YOU ****
from the bottom of my heart for all the good wishes, thoughts and prayers for Mr. Fun and for me.
I appreciate every one of them.
Please keep praying that I will have patience with my patient.

Like the flowers !!…love Ria…xxx.
So glad the surgery went well! I am NOT a good nurse, but I hope you will manage to fulfill that role until he’s back to full-speed-ahead!
Glad things went well and I’m sure you’ll be back to normal in no time:@)
Hi Linda,
I’m Shirley and now following you. I love your blog..Found you over at A Stroll Through Life and had to smile as I read your post. I’m sure that both you and Mr. Fun will come through the recovery really well. You have the spirit to make it happen! Be strong as I’m sure some day’s might be tougher than others!
Kindredly,
Shirley
Glad your hubby is on the mend and hope that he will recover very quickly. It’s amazing what doctors can do now-a-days!
The roses are wonderful and the display is beautiful. So glad he is doing well. Hang in there. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, marty
Oh I adore the roses and the lamp!
I hope you’ll stop by my blog. I am hosting a giveaway for a $50 Kirklands gift card.
I will pray for you! It is not easy for either of you. It takes a good while to heal. My sis had it done, she said she still can feel it click in, but at least she doesn’t have the pain she had.
At least the better weather is coming and he will be able to get out and walk.
Oh Honey…I hear ya’!!! Men are just about the worst patients when it comes to follow orders & Doctors are even MORE difficult. “Patience” is needed, I’m sure.
Take time for yourself…lots of stress, being the caregiver.
Hugs,
Rett
p.s. Forgot to say I’m really glad he did so well. It amazes me how fast the body can heal from such an assault.

Glad Mr. Fun is back home and best wishes for speedy recovery. I think male patients require the most patience. π
Love the table top. I wouldn’t change a thing.
Take care of yourself too. ~ sarah
Glad your hubby is doing well and on the mend! Have to say, I’m not a good nurse either! Thanks for visiting!

I’m happy to hear your husband is doing so well after major surgery. One of my friends (a ballet dancer) had the same surgery a couple years ago and said it was the best thing she ever did!
