DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS

Last night we had a dusting of snow.

Just enough to start me dreaming

of a White Christmas

… and to add
the perfect
touch to
the
outdoor
pots.

But baby, it’s cold outside, so step inside …

where we can enjoy
my white tree in
the warm dining room.

This mini tree is one of several around our house, but it’s the only one dressed all in white …

… and feathers …

… crystals …

… and pearls …

… snowflakes …

… pinecones …

… love birds with feathery tails to keep them warm …

… hummingbirds and dragonflies
(two of my favorites) …

… and glittery snowballs,
even in our toasty room!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow …

… I’m dreaming of a White Christmas.

I’m joining Kathleen at
Cuisine Kathleen
for her White Christmas party!

  1. What a beautiful post! Your home is just lovely and looks wonderful dressed in snow! The photos of your tree reflecting in the window are magical!

  2. The tree near your front door is gorgeous with the snow clinging to the branches…if the sun were out it would sparkle like it was covered in diamonds! Your white dining room tree is beautiful, love the dragonfly and hummingbird ornaments, so pretty.

  3. Wonderful photography outside! The deck decor covered in snow is beautiful. Made just for you! The white pine cone ornaments are so pretty.

  4. How beautiful from outside to inside!!! I love it.

Of course, we would never call that a “dusting of snow” here in south Georgia. We would call it a b-b-blizzard. Yep. All local schools would be closed. It’s just the way we are.

  5. What a beautiful and peaceful post. I love all the white inside and wish we had some white outside. I love the wreath and garland on your deck — it looks so festive robed in white. Thanks for the peak in your winter wonderland. Joni

  6. We went white last night too and yesterday it was 55! It was sure pretty. You sure captured the winter wonderland and I especially love the evening pictures with the white outdoors peeking through the windows – absolutely magical.

  7. OMGoodness, your home is GORGEOUS!!! I love the SNOWY pictures and your beautiful WHITE tree! We got about an inch of snow today, if there is still any left to photograph I will post some tomorrow! Thanks for sharing these!!!! XO, Pinky

  8. OOh love the baby it’s cold outside.. great minds think alike ;-)… omg that is a lot of snow.. your white tree is wonderful. All the special little touches! Thanks for dropping in!

  9. Hi Linda! Yes, ma’am, I believe you’re already having a White Christmas – inside and out! Your snow pictures are gorgeous! How beautiful the snow is around your lovely home. Your white tree is so gorgeous and I love your pretty decorations. I’ve never seen such elegant baubles! You’re good.
I’d love to see your gingerbread so I hope they turn out well.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia πŸ˜‰

  10. What a gorgeous home and yard. Your tree is beautiful! You would like mine, too, I think. It has no ornaments on it–just birds and pinecones with a few glass icicles. This year I used only blue lights. They’re predicting 5″ of snow here in NJ for Christmas, so I hope everyone gets to their family celebrations safely.

  11. Your home looks so beautiful and I am extra homesick for CT at this time of year! I love your trees and all the decorations.
I have had a very heavy work schedule the last couple of weeks and I’m just catching up on blogs now. I am so sorry to have missed your ornament giveaway.
By the way, not only are your trees gorgeous but the wreath on your door is exquisite as well.
I wish you and your loved ones a very
    Merry Christmas.
