~~~~ INDEPENDENCE DAY TABLE ~~~~
WELCOME to my FIRST EVER POST!!!!!!
WELCOME to my FIRST EVER POST!!!!!!
Visitors arrived from far away, bringing the colors and music for us to enjoy! First, the Williamsburg militia arrived.
They were followed by Uncle Sam, a blue fish, and a little star who entertained Mr. Fun!
Love this first post of yours! Are the little bowls spattered metal … or glass? I think your table was fantastic … beautifully done and you have a beautiful outdoor setting. Think you folks in the northeast got the heat we had had in the Midwest the week before! Our 4th was unusually mild. Take time to visit my site!
How fun! Welcome and I look forward to many more of your posts!
Your first TT post is a really nice one! Love your table decor … are the little bowls spattered metal or glass? Think you folks in the northeast got the heat we had had in the Midwest the week before! Congrats on a great job!
Hi Linda,
WELCOME TO BLOGGING! This is gorgeous! I’m working on the garden walk Saturday, and I’m doing a tablesetting under the pergola (I wrote a big blog about it – so follow me over and check it out) and I’m looking for inspiration – I’m so glad I came here, because you’ve got tons! I’m loving the idea of the fish on the table! Those are so much fun, and the whimsy they add is perfect! It’s a stunning arrangement, and just GORGEOUS! So, don’t be so surprised if you see that copied next week when I play in TT Thursday! 🙂 Can’t wait! Thank you so so so so much for the inspiration! 🙂
Welcome to the Land of Blog and your first Tablescape Thursday! You’ve done an outstanding job and I’ll be looking forward to seeing more of you! What a cute and festive table.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia 😉
What a fun table! So glad you are joining us! I’ve only been here for a couple of months but it is always so much fun! You did a wonderful job with all the details on this pretty table. I love the name of your blog!
What a fabulous first post and welcome to blogging. I loved everything about your table setting but particularly liked the Byers Choice patriotic dolls. I collect Byers Choice Dolls but mostly they are Christmas ones. I do have some for Thanksgiving but have never used them on a table setting. Thanks for the inspiration. I have also never seen those particular dolls and now I am on a “HUNT”. My DH will appreciate you for that.
Linda~ I missed this wonderful RW&B table~ it is SO much more pulled together and beautifully photographed than my first tablescape! I love your bombs-bursting-in-air votive holders lit at the table! I snuck inside to take a break and escape the heat here, wishing I could stay indoors until our fireworks display begins on the lake…maybe no one will miss me 🙂 Happy Independence Day!
